General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Welcome to Inspire Altea. These general terms and conditions apply to all services, activities, retreats, and courses organized by Inspire Altea, unless otherwise specified in writing.

1. Conditions

1.1 – Activity and Course Supervision

All mountain activities and courses are led by UIMLA-certified Mountain Leaders or professionals holding official Sports Technical Diplomas recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science.
These guides are qualified in outdoor education, group leadership, and safety in mountain terrain.

1.2 – Yoga and Meditation Courses

Yoga and meditation sessions are conducted by certified professional yoga teachers, qualified in the traditional teachings and philosophy of Yoga.

1.3 – Massage Therapies

Massage services are provided by certified massage therapists, trained in therapeutic techniques and the application of natural oils and medicinal plant extracts.
Treatments are adapted to each client’s personal health condition.

2. Activity Conditions

2.1 – Weather or Technical Cancellations

Activities may be suspended due to weather or technical reasons before or during the activity.
If the activity has already started, no refund will be issued.

2.2 – Participant Requirements

If a participant does not meet the required technical or physical level, the guide may modify the route or activity plan to adapt it to the participant’s ability.
The guide may also alter the itinerary due to weather conditions to ensure safety.

The guide-to-client ratio will always prioritize safety and respect the minimum group size agreed upon for each activity.

3. Client Declarations

By signing up for any Inspire Altea activity, the client declares the following under their sole responsibility:

a) They have been informed of the nature of the activity, its risks, and the appropriate conduct to be observed.
b) They understand that the activity will be led by a qualified guide at all times, and they agree to follow all instructions provided. Any action contrary to the guide’s directions is under the client’s responsibility.
c) They acknowledge the prohibition of leaving waste (organic or inorganic) during the activity and accept any administrative penalties for non-compliance.
d) They declare they have no cardiovascular conditions, are not pregnant, and suffer from no injury that could endanger their health during the activity.
e) They confirm they are of legal age (or have parental/tutor authorization) to participate.
f) They agree to refrain from alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair physical or mental faculties before or during the activity.
h) They have received and accepted a copy of this contract.

4. Transportation

Clients are responsible for their own transportation to and from the meeting point of the activity, unless otherwise agreed upon.
The contract and liability of Inspire Altea cover only the direct work of the guides and the organization of the activity.

5. Equipment Responsibility

Any loss, negligence, or misuse of materials provided by the guide (beyond normal wear or force majeure) is the responsibility of the client and must be compensated accordingly.

6. Voluntary Withdrawal

If a client chooses to withdraw voluntarily from an activity, they must sign and return a voluntary withdrawal document to the guide.
Leaving the activity immediately may not be possible due to weather or transportation limitations.
Any additional costs resulting from voluntary withdrawal (transport, accommodation, etc.) are the client’s responsibility, except in cases covered by the client’s personal insurance (see section 7 – Insurance).

7. Insurance

7.1 – Accident Insurance

As outdoor physical activities are regulated in natural environments, every participant must be covered by accident insurance.

8. Prices

All prices are stated in euros (€) and per person, and include the direct services of the certified guide (excluding VAT).
Unless otherwise specified, external services (hotels, meals, transportation, etc.) are not included and are payable by the client.

8.1 – Included Services

8.2 – Not Included

Each technical sheet will specify the necessary personal gear for the activity.

9. Dispute Resolution – Consumer Mediation

In case of a dispute, both the client and Inspire Altea will seek an amicable resolution.
The client may submit a written complaint to the company or its Customer Service department.

If no agreement is reached within one (1) month, the consumer may contact a certified consumer mediator listed by the Commission for Consumer Mediation Evaluation and Control under Article L.615-1 of the French Consumer Code:
